You're Not Too Old and It's Not Too Late

You're Not Too Old and It's Not Too Late

For years, I resisted the world of social media and digital marketing. Like many in my 50s and beyond, I used to say, "I don't do this or that." I had no interest, no clue, and no desire to dive into the complexities of these platforms. But life, and business, has a way of shifting your perspective.

As a stylist, my daughters constantly stressed how  important it is for me to learn these tools, " You're going to miss it if you don't," they warned me, and they were right - I did. For years, I struggled to keep up. I avoided learning, and it cost me opportunities to grow my business.

Now, I'm fully immersed. I've committed to classes, webinars. and courses, and I'm soaking up knowledge like never before!! It's not easy catching up, but I'm learning how to pray up, build up, and dress-empowering myself and other's from the inside out, and equipping my business for the future.

Reflecting on my journey, I realized this isn't new to me. As a single mom raising my daughters,I always stayed open to learning-especially from them. They kept me up-to-date on trends in hairstyles, fashion, and entertainment. It was one of my strengths as a mother: teaching them while also learning from them.

Here's what I know for sure: when you open yourself up to learning, you open the door to evolution and elevation. Whether it's through a class, a book, or even your kids, God will always send the right people or opportunities to push you froward.

So, if you've ever thought, "I'm too old for this" or "I don't do this" - it's time to shift your mindset. You're never too old to learn something new. Empower yourself to keep growing, keep evolving and keep reaching for more. Because the key to conquering your day-and your life-is to pray up, build up, and dress up and dress up.

"Let's not just settle for survival; let's thrive."
