WEDNESDAY’S WORD: EMPOWER 🌸

WEDNESDAY’S WORD: EMPOWER 🌸

Speak Life Into Your Day — Pray Up, Build Up, Dress Up

Before you check your phone, answer everybody’s requests, or start worrying about what needs to get done, take a moment to empower yourself.

How you start your day matters. Give yourself time to pray, speak life, and prepare for the day ahead.

We all have responsibilities family, business, finances, and things we’re still trying to figure out. But before we pour into everything and everyone else, we need to build ourselves up from within.

📖 TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21, KJV

Our words matter. Pay attention to what you’re speaking over yourself. Are you starting your morning saying, “I’m already overwhelmed,” or reminding yourself, “With God’s help, I can handle what’s before me”?

Empowering yourself daily means being intentional about what you feed your spirit, what you say, and how you move.

🙏 PRAY UP: START WITH GOD

Before you start anything, pray up. Invite God into your plans, your decisions, and the places where you need strength.

You don’t need a long, perfect prayer. Sometimes it’s simply: “Lord, thank You for another day. Guide my steps, settle my mind, and help me respond with wisdom.”

Prayer gives us room to pause, listen, and begin with purpose. Even when the day gets busy, we can return to that peace.

💗 BUILD UP: SPEAK LIFE INTO YOUR DAY

After you pray, build yourself up. Read your Word and speak declarations rooted in faith.

Today, I declare:

  1. My day will be productive, peaceful, and pleasant.
  2. Through Christ, I have victory over fear and discouragement.
  3. I will approach my business with purpose, my finances with wisdom, and my responsibilities with confidence.
  4. I am growing, learning, and becoming the woman God has called me to be.

Speaking life doesn’t mean every moment will go according to plan. It means that when challenges come, we have words of faith to return to and we can take the next step with courage.

That’s why we created our Declaration Cards: to help you make speaking goodness into your day a daily practice. Read one in the morning, keep it where you can see it, and revisit it when you need encouragement. Share one with someone who needs to be reminded of her strength and worth, too.

Sometimes the encouragement we’re waiting to receive is the encouragement we can begin speaking over ourselves.

👗 DRESS UP: LET YOUR OUTSIDE REFLECT YOUR GROWTH

Then get dressed and walk in faith and confidence. Bring your own grace and style into every room.

Dress Up comes after we begin working on the inside. A beautiful outfit can express who you are, but give your heart and mind some attention, too.

Ask yourself: What am I feeding my inner me? What am I believing about myself? Who am I becoming?

As we nurture our faith, peace, and self-worth, that growth can show up in how we carry ourselves, speak to others, set boundaries, and present ourselves.

Wear something that makes you feel like you. Stand tall. Let your style express the woman you’re becoming.

Knowing your worth is always in style.

🌿 THIS WEEK’S EMPOWERMENT PRACTICE

Before you give the day your attention, give yourself a few intentional minutes:

  1. Pray Up: Thank God and ask Him to guide your day.
  2. Build Up: Read a scripture and speak a declaration aloud.
  3. Dress Up: Get dressed with intention and carry your faith and confidence with you.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Empower yourself right where you are, and keep growing from there.

🙏 A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of another day. Before we step into our responsibilities, help us make room for You. Fill our hearts with peace and teach us to speak words that bring life.

When we feel overwhelmed, remind us that we can turn to You for strength. Give us wisdom in our businesses, discipline in our finances, patience with our families, and courage for the decisions ahead.

Help us nurture our inner selves and grow into the women You have called us to be. Let our confidence be rooted in You, and let our presence bring kindness, grace, and encouragement into every room.

Guide us toward a productive, peaceful, and pleasant day, and help us trust You when things unfold differently than we planned.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
